Bass Coast Shire

The Bass Coast Shire is located in South West Gippsland 90 minutes drive from Melbourne. With over 180 kilometres of spectacular coastline, beautiful wilderness areas, scenic hinterland and a laid back life style the region provides a feast of isolated beaches, lush farmlands, nature parks and historical landmarks, including the popular Phillip Island.

Baw Baw Shire

Baw Baw Shire is located in West Gippsland, about an hour from Melbourne. Predominantly rural, with over 100 localities, Baw Baw is spread across 4,000 square kilometres of rolling green hills, mountains and top-notch farmland. Rural, green, rolling hills. Country towns. Crisp country air. Rivers, reservoirs. and a fine trestle bridge.

East Gippsland Shire

Located in the far east of Victoria - it's green, glorious and wild. It represents about 10 percent of Victoria. It's huge!

Beginning at Bairnsdale the region boasts old growth forests, isolated coasts, high country huts, lakes and rivers galore and 90 miles of beach. Picture old timber bridges criss crossing through oceans of dark and dense forest. Thick canopies of green stretching down moss-faced ancient trees. Iconic huts and shambolic houses.

Friendly towns and streetscapes. Jaunty boating villages with bobbing boats and clashing masts. Stripes and loafers. Tractors, chainsaws, chiselled men. Wood cutters and greenies.

Latrobe City

Nestled in a valley in the heart of Gippsland and only 90 minutes drive from Melbourne, Latrobe City offers diverse landscapes, beautiful waterways and is also home to one of the largest cool temperate rainforests in the southern hemisphere known as Tarra Bulga National Park, as well as the beautiful fern gullies of Morwell National Park. All these features contribute towards making Latrobe City an attractive film location.

South Gippsland Shire

Almost on Melbourne’s doorstep, South Gippsland Shire - also known as Prom Country - offers rolling green hills that remind you of England, unspoilt beaches, rich grazing land and lush rainforests. Dramatic and beautiful Wilsons Promontory National Park, with its untouched beauty and pristine beaches, set against a backdrop of immense proportions.

Wellington Shire

Wellington, Victoria's third largest Shire geographically, extends from the Great Dividing Range and Victorian High Country through rich irrigated flats, productive grazing land, the internationally significant Gippsland lakes and wetlands to national and coastal parks, Ninety Mile Beach and Bass Strait.
